Finished MSF course this weekend

I just finished my MSF course and I must say it was more than I had expected. I left there feeling very confident in the handling of the bike. I am excited - now I am ready to practice some more and finally hit the road.

FWIW, that figure 8 drill ( or u-turn drill) was quite the challenge. While I eventually got it and was doing well in practice, when it came time for the 'skills scoring' part, I put my foot down. Man that ticked me off.

Great course though and I highly recommend it.

Congrats on finishing the course. Are you in one of the states that waives the state road test if you pass the MSF?

Yes, South Carolina. I had the beginner's course this weekend but if you pass the intermediate course they will waive the state required test at the DMV.

I plan on trying the intermediate course in the spring.

Same here - I put mine down (for whatever awful reason ) during the figure-8 part. Yay for passing!
