So... What are your thoughts???
Read the story, then let's see what you have to say. Who's at fault, does the story ring true, whatever else you have to say...

Another tragic death. It sounds like both parties were engaged in a road rage incident and dad stepped it up a notch. He'll most likely be charged with at least 2nd degree because he shot him in the back. Sounds like there may be a political angle too.
People say I'm stupid and apathetic. I don't know what that means, and I don't care.

The rider was a jackass to follow the girls home and allegedly ram their car. Then he was a jackass to keep riding back and forth in front of the house.
The dad was a jackass to fire at the rider in the street.
Bad shoot.
What I do find peculiar is this line:
What other charges can be placed on the dad?

.Authorities could add more charges, Berry said, but aren't rushed because Gear can't bond out of jail on a murder charge
What other charges can be placed on the dad?

I think your right. Whatever foolishness followed, the bike getting tagged by the girl's car is almost certainly the start of it all.dr_bar wrote:I think the article also says it's a new bike...
Just what rider do you know that would ram a car with his new (any) bike???
I think the girls hit him, and I'd be willing to put money on it....
No Witnesses....

Gear is a lying ba$tard. He deserves to have the charges against him.
While it may be dumb to follow someone home.....Mough did not deserve to be hurt.......
A 911 call would have been the prudent choice of action. The stupid teenage girl should also have her license revoked.
And.....it's things like this why some question the 2nd ammendment.
