GPS for bike and cage?

Punch a hole in the back of the GPS? A mount made for the model of GPS will have a space for the power cord.

I dont know what ram mounts you have seen but my ram mount is open except for where the GPS unit clips onto it. and now my wife made me forget my train of thought. I had more to say but cant remember it now.

There you go. The point of the lock is a simple deterrant for potential passerby thiefs. Plus it provides piece of mind when i leave the bike out with the GPS for any amount of time (which isn't more than an hour at a time and the bike is in my view).

What is the point of any lock? If somebody really wants something they'll eventually get it given the motivation and proper tools.

then take the gps with you inside. they arent that heavy.

Well after reading here and other reviews, I decided on the Garmin Nuvi 200 based on low cost and the OEM option for a motorcycle mount. At the time I bought it, it was also the lowest price compared to TomTom or others.

The lowest cost and the only at that cost level to have the option of a motorcycle mount sold me.

I've yet to put the optional mount on my bike but it work very nice in the cage and is small enought to fit in my front pocket for saftey and short storage.
