Getting really tired of the cold!
Last Saturday it hit -37C, hasn't been warmer than -23 since!
To think it was nice enough to ride on November 30 and now I won't even go out on a sled!

Drive to work was fun in a light coating of snow. Pulled into the parking lot at work and went sideways around half the building and stopped perfectly parked.

The drive home suck, I could only do 55 on the highway. Not because there was too much snow or ice on the road, but because there was too much snow or ice in my wheels and it was vibrating too much.Image

PS - can we get this simely here? Image it's called :unamused:

Last night I purchased a heater for my living room. The building heat is not working and although I can wear a fleece and thick socks to keep me less chilly, the cold air is harmful to my bronchii and lungs.

Today I took my car to the body shop to open a claim. A driver where I work hit my car with their bus. Dang! There is more than cosmetic damage....it scrapes when turning and the steering wheel is out of kilter.

I am ticked about the inconvenience more than anything.

I heard that!!! It's been -30 or colder most every night for weeks here in Edmonchuck, and not much fricken warmer during the day. And the snow has eaten the brain out of every dumbasss motherflucker with a driver's license and a vehicle. The incrediblely boneheaded moves I've seen this month almost make me hope that big, unknown comet that will wipe out the species hurries up and gets here.

Good......

This is the first winter in over 20 years that I have not had to work outside for 10-12 hrs a day, everyday.

Bad.......

I have to drive back and forth across the city several times a day to get from job to job. This allows me far, far, far too much contact with the afore mentioned brainless twats on the roads.
No Witnesses.... :shifty:

I try to stay away from Edmonton when the weather's like this! Also try and stay off of HWY2
I agree, the morons see to multiply the colder the weather gets.

Let's see - you see 3 vehicles in the ditch ahead of you.... do you A) slam on your brakes and join them? B) slam on your brakes and slide across 3 lanes and then join them? C) Let Off The Gas and Don't Be Stupid!!!

No wonder you don't come up here in the winter. Standard practice for these idjits is - see 3 vehicles in the ditch ahead of you..... you A) wait for anyone else on the road with you to hit the binders and spin off into the weeds, then slowly bring your own vehicle to a complete stop across both lanes of traffic and keep it there for at least an hour until the cops show up and ask you to move it, then drive off at walking speed (right down the middle of the road, one set of wheels in each lane) for the next 45 miles..... along with the 8 miles of bumper-to-bumper traffic you have backed up behind you by being so 'safe'.

.... there is no .... B)..... and C) is an imaginary option beyond the comprehension of the limited cranial capacity of people using both their braincells to operate a cell phone, leaving them not a single cell to drive with..... but I may be a wee bit jaded about this topic.

well here its A) Slam on the brakes while going down a hill thus finding yourself in the ditch joining them.

Why are there sssooo many idiots that feel the need to slam on the brakes while going down an icy hill???? Hello slow down BEFORE you start going down by taking your foot off the gas and then coast down the hill thus removing any possibility of actually having to use the brakes while going down that hill.

I despise prius's. Hell, I despise ALL hybrids. They're worthless pieces of "poo poo" that should never be allowed on the road.
