Yup, i would be all over a VFR if i could only have one bike. I would also be all over it if i could have as many as i wanted
Definitely the bike I wanted. What I got was something entirely different.

 As long as your happy with it then i don't see any room to complain. Is the B-King going to be your last bike?

Who knows? I was going to keep the Kawasaki until it fell apart. Then I got that itch to get something different.

One of the guys at work who is out to get a bike was looking at the B-King - he was having problems defining what it is... Even called it a cruiser. :)

That's actually the way I like it. I'll like it more once I've got more miles on the bike than dollars it cost to purchase it (total cost).

That'll be about two years or less if I do miles at the rate I was with the Kawasaki.

Honestly, is too much bike for you?
Im not trying to embarrass you or anything. Just wondering. Or do you think you need more time to get used to it?

I did well today. I probably just need more experience, which I'll get plenty of commuting with it. Every commute day I put 84 miles on the bike.

But whether I'll be great at slow-speed maneuvers with it, figure 8's and stuff, that might be questionable.

We'll see how it goes. Regardless, there is no changing of minds that can happen now.

Not and still have any "O Ring" left from my wife chewing it out.

Well no doubt it takes time to get used to a bike like the b-king, is it not the 2008 hayabusa engine de-tuned? If it is your last bike, i would say it's a pretty sweet last bike.

The engine is the 2008 Hayabusa engine, but it isn't really detuned. It has a lot more restricted airflow and has about 10 or so hp less than the Hayabusa.

It is a great bike. I had fun riding in to work on Thursday. It certainly feels great in turns. I'm leaning and taking (some) of them much better than I did in the Kawasaki Ninja 250.

I might even get a chance to ride with some friends next week.
