So.... i think the date is march 2, and it would have started out as any other day, however it was effing 10 degrees outside and sunny! So anybody guess what i did to take advantage of this anomaly of weather?

I TOOK MY FIRST RIDE OF THE YEAR!!!!! :kicking:

Even though it was just around the block and about 10 km or so.... I also had to ride extremely cautiously as EVERY corner was plastered with gravel so i think i took all turns at a max of 5 km/h :laughing:

But tomorrow i have to take it down to the dealer to get all ready for the summer and i just wanted to check out if the main roads were ok for riding yet so i just went for a solid three or four blocks. It felt AMAZING though, this might even keep me until april ( might have to cause its supposed to get crappy again )

To all of you living in areas that don't get snow..... HAH i can ride now too :D

10 degrees and you should be able to ride without coat or gloves. I did a conversion and 10 degrees in Canada (C) is like 50 in the States (F)

But I know what you mean about gravel. The gravel here will be on streets until we get Spring rains that was them off.

It was 70F here (21.1C) today.

Spring is coming! I agree that gravel though is a bear.
I have to keep sweeping the end of my driveway 'cuz the cars keep spraying it off the road :frusty: ;

after all, that first turn off the driveway is the most important one of the day....

I wasent worried about the temperature as much as i am protection. It was warm enough to ride without gloves or a coat but i would never ride with out either as i'm too scared of the consequences of crashing not wearing my gear.
