I like trying on a helmet before buying one instead of using the Internet

I would like to know if you might consider buying a new helmet at a bike event since you can try it on there. Assume the price is competitive.

In the comments,

If you could state if you normally bring enough CASH to buy something for your bike?

You should have consolidated your posts.

the only way i'd buy a helmet over the internet is if i've already tried it on somewhere else - e.g. i'd buy another icon airframe helmet on the net because i already own one and know what it feels like and what size to get.
i figure a helmet is important enough to take the time to do the proper research and ensure proper fit and comfort.
