Why did they stop making the Speed four anyway??

I always thought it was a kinda pointless bike. You can go to the japanese manufacturers and get a naked four cylinder. Triumph offered something a little different and unique with the three cylinder speed triple and that is what customers came there for. Something different. The speed four was just another four cylinder in my eyes.
