WHAT HAVE U HIT IN THE ROAD

#1 Unread post by RC DAVE »

Tonight i was out for a monday evening ride just a quicky to the ball field unfortunatelly theres a dump (land fill ) between me and destination. I'm sick of people loosing STUFF off of vehicles to and from, anyway i hit a 2x4 (yes) about 3' long on my rc it flipped to the side and kicked up into my lower fairing and ripped off the oil cooler from its bracket !!! I'm pissed. didnt sever line but cracked lower and bent abunch of fins on cooler. thank god for the steering damper i think it would of deflected real bad without it so that was worth every cent!! (olins) anyway whats the worst junk u have hit i cant wait to here this one

A bag of cement that had fallen off the back of a truck...
I was riding behind a cop who didn't even have the courtesy to flash his brakelights at me to warn me about it... It's not often you catch air on an 07 CBR600RR, but when you do it scares the living crap out of you!

The brakes off of a diesel truck, couldn't see it because of the snow...cost me a fortune.
The bumper off of a truck it flew off of the truck when the bales of hay started to fall, I managed to miss the bales of hay but not the bumper, put a huge dent on my fender. We were on the Interstate, cars all around, so I dodge the best as I could and when the car to my right realized he moved so I could, it all happened in a split second, my hubby was able to vear left between the cars.
I follow a new highway I haven't traveled before.

I hit an Ohio groundhog on the expressway, the little fur covered speed bump ran across the road in front of me. I managed to miss him with the front wheel, but I hit him with the back wheel. It nearly gave me whip lash. The little bugger was tough as nails, he collected himself and kept right on going.

When I was on my 125cc cruiser there was a dumptruck infront of me, and there was a dead racoon in the middle of the road, the dumptruck was so big that i didn't see the racoon till it was right infront of me, ran right over it. Afterwards i shat myselft.
