Cheap rider-pillion comm?

Can anyone out there recommend an inexpensive way to do this? I don't need bike-to-bike comm (ride alone 90% of time) and don't want to be distracted by music/phone input. Just need a way so my pillion won't feel isolated.

I'm assuming there must be some system out there that hooks up to walkie talkies, with a PTT switch for the rider's handlebars?

Thanks. I found an article in http://www.mcnews.com/mcn/technical.asp on cheap bike to bike comms. Might as well get one of these, for when my pillion gets her own ride.
