that is a nice looking bike. but i have to go used and i'd like to stay as close to $4000.00 as possible. $4500.00 being my max. i've looked around and as of right now, the versys doesn't fit that. i've heard great things about it though. if you ever wanna give me a birthday present i wouldn't mind one

I still say the one with the top case. That is a good little drive but what the heck right? ROAD TRIP!

If not then I would jst go to the one that is closer. They both sound about the same anyway. Though I do get a little better feeling from the lady owned 06 for some reason.

I like newer with lower mileage, and lowered.
I don't like something that has been scratched through the paint, so nix number 3 for me.
The hard case is nice, but it doesn't offset age and mileage.

I vote for #1. Blue isn't that bad, is it?

that little bit of mileage is basically insignificant - i wouldn't even make that a defining concern among those three bikes. i would go with the one with the top case $600 cheaper (at least, depending on how much you negotiate the price down) and the case (and the color you like) would more than offset the loss of time imo.

well guys and gals,

we have a verbal agreement for me to pay tomorrow when i go and pick it up. and which one is it?

drumroll

:biker: (i know it's a guy on a bike, but it was the closest thing to looking like someone doing a drumroll on a snare.)

i actually decided to go blue. the blue started to speak to me and the lady has been more than amazing to deal with so far. i think i'll be plenty happy with it. the final price is $4450.00 with everything on it plus the original turn signals so i could put them back on. it's not an AMAZING deal. i think if i shopped more i could get better. but i'm satisfied. i'll post pics when i get it. ahh, i'll probably start a "happy bikeday thread" when i get it.

thanks y'all. now it seams so easy. but this was a tough decision for me. i don't like to spend a lot of money. and i don't like to go in debt at all.... much less for a bike. but i'm feeling ok right now. again, thanks.

i know... i know. in my defense, not everyone voted for the silver one.
the silver is still my favorite looking fz6. that, and i have blue and black gear and didn't want to be one of those matching guys, i really wanted to get the silver. BUT, i got the blue one down to $4450.00 with the back/up risers included. the silver owner didn't want to come down. plus, his bike has been in the shop waiting on a part and is still there. so i would have no bike right now. the lady that sold me my bike was a pleasure to do business with and was way more willing to answer my questions in a timely manner than anyone else.

so in the end, i wanted a top case... i wanted silver... i didn't want to match with my current riding gear... so i ended up with a blue and black fz6 that matches my current riding gear and has no top case. and i couldn't be happier.

again y'all, thanks for helping me work this out in my head. it was truly helpful to me.
