Thanks gsJack - I always like seeing the control cluster in detail.

And that is a really good layout - I just like mine better on the B-King. More screen real-estate. However, with half the displacement of my bike, it probably would have been a better second bike choice - especially with the mpg.

Oh, and I definitely prefer black and silver color scheme. Although there is nothing wrong with the blue and white either.

The more I look it the more I think it is a mini version of my bike. Some things I like better on the Gladius - like the placement of the gear indicator. Half the time I can't see my gear indicator as it is blocked by the front brake and throttle lines! Man I hate that. Especially when I'm at highway speed and the bike gets "twitchy" - usually because I'm in a lower gear for the speed I'm going.

I'm happy pretty much anytime a new mid-weight standard is launched; there should be more of them. Some of the colors the Gladius is available in seem kinda iffy, but overall it's a fine bike with a character-filled engine. Can't wait to try out that 90 degree V-twin.

too bad these didn't come out a few years ago. just got a new bike and had to get used because of finances. would've been a nice option.

Actually there is a mini B king. Its called the GSR600 and isn't sold on our side of the pond. It uses a 600cc 4 cylinder out of a GSXR and the styling is very similar to the b king.

I've seen it - and liked it a lot.

Here is a good article on it, but of course it isn't available here as you said.

With the B-King and the GSR 600 - the Mirrors destroy the lines of the bike.
