so the thread where the guy from canada was asking about insurance and sport bikes caused me to do a quick search. i thought i remembered that canada had the cbr125, but i wanted to make sure. but then i saw this.

looks like honda's version of the fz6... but i hate to say that i think it looks a little nicer.

then taking a look over into the UK... the suzuki mt series... or the xj6... or an abs version of the fz6... i think i saw somewhere where someone posted that the uk has a "mini" b king. same looks but with a 600cc engine.

maybe it's like hair. curly headed people want straight hair and straight haired people want curly hair. maybe it's just looking at what we don't have rather than being thankful for what we do have. but some of y'all around the world got some nice bikes that i wish i had the chance to get in america

Great question Dean, wish I had a good answer. And +1 on that mini B King, that's a nice looking bike. Were the pipes removed in that photo?

No the pipes weren't removed in the photo. The GSR600 (the mini b-king) has an undertail exhaust.

I would love to see this bike in the US.

Of course I like that, too. It has the look and probably gets phenomenal gas mileage too.

I suspect that the bikes that look great that are offered in non-US... When they come to the US it seems they are spectacular flops (like my B-King) and tends to disincline the manufacturers from bringing specific bikes to the US.

There was a Honda that I really likes - kinds tall a TransAlp or something (like a Bandit, but nicer) - that was brought here for a couple years - did poorly hasn't come back.

Sweet Bandit with all the bags....

Just a selection of current Suzuki's that are on sale in the UK, but not here....

It is weird, but it seems like most of their line has around 650cc engines...

Even the sportsbikes that make it here, we often get the most bland graphics too in the US while Japan and Europe get the wild graphics and the cool limited edition racebike replicas with all the sponsor stickers.
