Crash bar chaps question

My bike is a Kawasaki Vulcan 500 LTD EN500C

I was looking for a set of crash bar chaps and saw a set at SageBrushDesigns.com for $85 plus shipping. I wanted to know if anyone has crashbar chaps, where you got them and if you would suggest the place made yours?

Also do you like them for cool weather and wet roads?

The ones I'm looking at are at http://www.sagebrushdesigns.com/images/ ... e-bar1.jpg and here http://www.sagebrushdesigns.com/images/ ... ne-bar.jpg

Thanks for any input.

I suspect they would help keep your toes warmer.
