I guess it started the other day when I learned that a member of another site I 'm a member of, was in town shooting electrons at semi conductors, yes, he's one of those "SMART" people, lol. Anyway, there was a local meet 'n greet ride planned for today so I offered up the use of my Valkyrie for the day. He accepted, so yesterday I cleaned it up, charged the battery and today went on an excellant ride of about 400 kms, (give or take a dozen kms.)

Rick is from Lubbock Tx and it was great to meet him and some of the local Venturerider group...

I got to see a Valkyrie up close yesterday at a local dealerships open house--very cool! Someone had a Magna, as well. I love seeing older bikes that are so well taken care of, and still ridden.

Just got back from the 2nd annual Ride For Dad, somewhere around 2000 riders attended the function and raised C$140,000.99 for prostate cancer and education. Will post pics and a better write up in my blog at some later date once my bum starts to feel more like itself. In the meantime, I did run into this one ugly bugger.

Got the keys to a 929RR  I may see how fast 3rd gear is on the way to work tonight.

I mean, I will be responsible and not go above the posted speed limits...

Mondays are now Munchkin Mondays for me, meaning I have my 4 nieces and nephews from 6 am to 6 pm every Monday. This morning it was the Columbus Zoo, this afternoon it was laundry and popsicles.

Went and bought a pair of shorts today. hehehe
Also bought my son a nintendo DSi. pretty fun little toy with the camera and microphone addition. Glad I got it instead of the PSP.

Got home this evening and was walking out to the car to get something and saw TWO bobcats running through my back yard! They were just a little taller and a lot longer then my smallish medium sized dog. Pretty cool.

I saw one years ago when I was a young teen out in the woods around my house, but had almost convinced myself that it was just a cat. Now I know they are out there for sure.
