During last Sunday's Ride For Dad run, I ran it to a group of riders sporting the colours of the 3rd C.A.V. (CAV in this case stands for Canadian Army Veterans) and chatted with them a bit. Seems they are a group of vets, both active and retired Reserves and Regulars who ride together and support various charitable and community efforts. I was wondering if anyone either belongs to one of these clubs or knows more about them. Being an ex-Meathead, I am interested in learning more about them.
Always ask why.

They came on the scene in Kingston, Ontario, a few years ago and I know a few of the original members. They are quite committed to supporting our troops and most of their events reflect that. As you mentioned, the membership is composed of veterans from the military, RCMP and OPP.

Their website is here: http://www.thecav.ca/

Hey Gummie,

Thanks for the link, but I visited already. Any thoughts on the group?
