Almost got wiped on the ride home today. Some right stupid arsehole decided to do a U-turn just in front of me on 5 Road. Hit the brakes hard, dodged into the inside lane and called him an A$$HOLE as I slipped by. What is with jerks in big arsed SUV's, they think they own the flippin' road or something.
Always ask why.

found out this morning that i'll be promoted this year. by december i'll be making over $400 more a month than i make now. combine that with a massive vehicle liquidation, i'll be debt free with 400 bones a month to throw at a new bike.
i'll actually sew on my new rank probably Oct 1, so that'll be $200, then in December i hit 12 years in service and that's another $200. i'm thinking that'll be me a very nice smile machine.
i also rode up to the top of mt lemmon and back today with my mentor. it was our first ride together and i thought it went pretty well. need to get some things checked on the Madura, though, so it'll be going in the shop this weekend if i can find someone that can do the work quick. otherwise i'll wait til the ninja's out and then take the madura in. fun stuff.

Today, I gassed up the bike, did my laundry and put new line on my fishing reel.
Tomorrow, my baby brother along with his two brats and I are heading to the Fraser River to do a bit of bar fishing, going after big Spring aka King aka Chinook Salmon. Odds are the same thing will happen as when I went after Pinks, I'll spend my day swearing and cursing tangled lines and the fish will sit safely in the river laughing at me. I am absolutely no threat to salmon.

Ah well, time to throw the kids into a ring together and see who comes out victorious!

Happy Father's Day to all you dads out there!
As for me? Crow was outside at 6:30 squawking his head off... Got out the airsoft and made him move to someone else's apartment complex.
