I just bought a textile mesh with a zip in liner. I live in Hawaii and it's been running mid to high 80s for several years now (ha ha), but for real, it's been pretty hot feeling. I just took the bike out yesterday to get it registered and the ride was nice. The jacket lets in a lot of air, and I almost don't feel hot at all. I wore it in the car with the liner when I first bought it, and it was like wearing any other jacket.
My vote is go for the mesh with a liner.
