Days later, the dealer has a problem. A good customer was afraid he had terminally upset his wife so he need to sell his brand new Silver/Pewter
CrossBones and he needed to sell it or he was a facing a divorce. The dealer couldn't do anything about it but give him a real lowball bid. Well, that was too little for the owner, so I took the bike around the block and a few other places, maybe 5-10 minutes. I came back and offered the guy half the difference between the fealers offer and what the guy had paid for it. He didn't like it but it paid off what he owed on it and he was free of it.
Gummiente, you just don't know how influential you are.

So anyway, since that tiime I've been working on the bike and getting some things done though not as many as I want. But Harleys last a long time. BTW this bike had 350+ miles on it.
The owner added the sissybar and the forward carsh bar. I liked them so I remounted them. Then I rode it for a few days until I got a thousand miles on it then pulled it apart and added a S&S 103 cu kit and stage 2 perfomance package except with Vance and Hines Exaust pipes, I found that if I exchanged the heads for a stage 3 porting and polishing job with a larger and better profiled valve job with a siffer cam that the horse power the bike wold gain 110 hp withtons of torque over a wider rpm range. I then added a larger TB and a thundermax EFI controller. For now the rest of the bike is fairly stock but I hape to get better rear shocks
The tractor type seat is strangely comfortable. It seems to have anybad habits except the brakes are a bit on the light side but have had no close valls that were only the bikes gault. the second thing was the surprising ride quality of the springer front end. However, at sppeds over to and esp, 80+. the front end wants to bounce hard over surface joints and other bumps like broken concrete. anyway the pictures.
