Happy bike day! to me!

After retaking the BRC, I looked at a 05 Honda Rebel and a 02 Yamaha Virago. (See my other thread on these)

Both were very nice bikes, but I decided on the Rebel. It's the same bike that I rode during the BRC and I just fell in love with it. It fits me perfectly!

So, for $1950 I got a 2005 Honda Rebel, that's in very nice shape (one small dent in the gas tank, a cracked battery cover and a craked rear light bar. Easy fixes, except for the tank.), with a windshield, saddlebags and a sissybar with rear rack. Best of all, it needs nothing done to it, mechanically. As the previous owner is a salesman at a Honda shop.

The Virago 250, I would have to take it to the shop and have it serviced, approx $250 to $300. Which would have cost aprox $1750.

I think I made the better choice, as the Rebel fits me perfectly. While the Virago has those forward foot controls that I didn't like.

I'll post pics tomorrow.

The oil companies are gonna hate you. Last I checked the Rebel gets around 75-80 MPG. Have fun on it!
