I really don't get the "ugly" comments on the new Monsters. I think it's an even better-looking, modern update on an already good looking line of bikes.

I like it a lot, I'm about to take it in for it's 600 mile checkup. It's just a beast all it's own and requires time to tame, in the beginning I was worried about the gearing and when the bike likes to shift but I've really come a long way in understanding the bike and it's fantastic now.

I hear ya. I am still getting used to my 696.
