well, with my mass vehicle/toy liquidation that i'm holding to pay off the Road Glide as soon as possible, i'll eventually be left with my diesel, the bike, and my ninja 250. i'd like to hold onto the 250 just for quick trips around town to keep city wear and tear on that bike and use the big bike for the 400 mile round-trips to my grandma's every other weekend.

we'll see how it ends up, though. if eveything else sells, then i'm not gonna worry abou the ninja.

Sounds like you've got it all planned out!
And if you want to donate a certain Suzuki to the "poor mechanics that need a bike" fund I'll be down to collect it and make sure it goes to a good home!

might just come to that. everyone else says the bike is a blast to ride but i just don't like it. fuel economy sucks too bad to be a good commuter bike and it's too damn uncomfortable for longer rides. add in that i don't much care for the seating position, and i'm not really that interested.

don't get me wrong, it's fun to be the first in line at a red light and blast off like a rocket, but that doesn't happen that often around here and once you get up past 45mph it's just a matter of time before you see those flashers in your mirror.

lowered the price on it to $3500, so hopefully will get some bites on it.

Check arrives Thursday morning, will be heading to meet him at the HD dealership Thursday afternoon to pay off his loan and then take delivery of the bike. Should be comfortably cruising my way out to grandma's house sometime Friday after work--if I even go in, thinking about taking a day of leave.
