Ambulance almost splatted me :\

So I was riding along and I noticed the light infront of me changed to yellow, I went to slow to a stop but there was an ambulance right on my "O Ring"! I ended up going pulling on the throttle harder to get some distance between me and the wagon then I went through the red light and the ambulance followed me through the red light. Once on the other side I slowed down back to normal speed andI was about to change lanes when the ambulance lanes sluggishly pulled to my right went around and passed me then changed back.

Then at the next red light there were several cars so the ambulance turned on its lights and went through. This Ambulance didn't have strobes though just 3 yellow lights up top.

I'm glad I always look in my mirrors when I start stopping at an intersection, if I didn't check it I would have been splat!

I'm glad that had a happy ending Brackstone.
Was that on your new Ducati?
It sounds like you were on the ball and handled it well.

On the other hand, the ambulance driver sounds like he needs a refresher course in situational awareness.
