Pacificshot, is that you in your avatar shooting? And if so, air or .22? Used to shoot for practice with the Junior Olympic team in Colorado Springs 10M air standing. :D Couldn't afford the equipment, so I borrowed one of their air rifles and wore my mom's old cross country skiing boots for the flat standing surface...

I've been using Vista since it came out and haven't had any issues. Are you trying to run it on substandard machines?
People say I'm stupid and apathetic. I don't know what that means, and I don't care.

Indeed. That was at the Western Region Championships in 200...7? .177 precision air rifle. Took 6th place that time. But I looked good doing it!

Had the chance to train with Matt Emmons briefly - awesome guy and damn good at what he does.

Heard that about the gear. Took me forever to get all of my stuff - saved up a whole ton of pennies.

I didn't have any problems running it; I actually liked Vista. 7 just has some UI tweaks I find interesting.

Haha yes you do! That's amazing, wish I had the chance to train with someone like that. Now that I'm older I'm a bit more unsteady so I'm not as accurate as I used to be.

And the sad part about the whole ton of pennies is that at the price of those things, it was literally a ton you saved up!

Yes! Literally a ton! Always just boggles my mind how ridiculous some of this stuff is.

Worth it to me, though. Major part of my life. Hope to keep moving forward with this.

.....hummm. Today I went to agility class with two of my dogs, then I came home and rode my bike to Market Street to pick up some boneless ribeyes that were on sale. A very big step for me as I am an absolute beginner! Beautiful day! Felt great!

As an aside....the shooting thing is cool! And I hate Vista. :ninja:

I'm guessing that there's no shortage of volunteers for that duty, and that the hubby does it well!

Rode three miles on my bike with out stopping for the first time. Which was my first goal. Six laps around a half mile circle with a not so steep but long climb to it.

Now I am going to try and tackle the local trail that is just over three miles with only a couple of short climbs.

Next goal is six miles on the street and then the six mile trail at the Charlie Elliot Wildlife Center. It is supposed to have a couple of hard climbs to it.
