I won a debate about women being equal to men and I was on the negative side of that debate...
They're not equal to men, but far superior...
Higher pain threshold, greater intellect, longer life span are just three of the proven areas I can remember that came up in our debate...
As to having their own forum, it is also proven that women have been excluded or held back in just about every male dominated area. There is truly no reason to keep this practise up in this day and age, having a forum for women gives them the ability to have a "Safe" place to converse without male harassment. If a guy goes in and stirs the pot, he will get shut down in there quite quickly. Personally, I think it should be a locked forum for just women....
I also think the moderators should keep an eye on this discussion incase it gets out of hand.

To me it's always seemed that men and women are no greater or less than each other. Just different in a some aspects. On average (there's always exceptions) women are better at some things and men at others. For example, a female friend of mine has been doing her best to keep me organized for school and stuff. And I've been doing my best to keep her from destroying her clutch in her new car (it's her first manual). Where I normally never complain about things that bug me, she has no problem with raising hell. And turns out, raising hell isn't a bad thing usually.

I disagree, because the ladies seem to come up with the many of the best general interest topics on the whole site!dr_bar wrote:Personally, I think it should be a locked forum for just women....
I exercise a great deal of self-restraint about posting in their place though, and limit it to times when I have a specific bit of factual information immediately germane to their discussion. Otherwise I just read...

Discuss.
So we can be girlie in a specific place and not feminize the whole board???
So the shy ladies or timid women can come in there and find support and not made to feel stupid or inadequate?
So we can discuss other topics like how to look good with helmet hair or what's the best lipstick to wear when riding??
