After work I rode over to a friend's place and took her 7 year old for a motorcycle ride around the neighbourhood. He was in 7th heaven.
( He had a helmet on and his feet could rest on the footpegs)
His parents slit up in the Spring and this kid has had a rough time dealing with it.....It felt great to do somethng special to make him smile.
Then of course the 2-1/2 year old was insanely jealous.....so I put the helmet on him and sat him behind me to ride up and down the driveway....
Meltdown avoided....

Leaving for Rifle, CO tomorrow to get my ACL replaced (cadaver tissue FTW) and get my MCL pulled out of my knee joint and reattached back onto the bone where it's supposed to be. Supposedly I'll be down and out for at least 2 weeks before I can head back to Gunnison. Until then if anyone stops through Colorado Springs stop by and say hi!

Good Luck with the repairs, Wrider. Heal up quick, eh.
I got a buddy who has a good chunk of his left leg and ankle rebuilt from cadaver leavings. It worked out well for him, after spending 2 years of painful hell trying to make what was left of his original tissue heal properly. Hopefully your's works out as well.
