This is the kind of thing that made me buy the Sport-Classic Ducati.....

Now that the production version of the CB1100F has been confirmed there are some nice glamour shots floating around the web from the Tokyo Motor Show. It looks great, but if it is anything like the Duck it will be more style than substance. Right now though.....I want one

Is that an inline 4? I see more than 2 exhaust pipes, but it seems small for 4 cylinders. Then again it is an 1100.

Yeah it's a 4 banger. And a sexy one at that! Too bad it probably won't sell well. Although it will be very close to the ZRX1200 that's sold well. Only difference is it doesn't have any fairing that we westeners seem to prefer.

Yeah, kiss of death... I like the bike. It must be much larger in person than in that pic.

The naked bike market is slowly getting stronger (relatively), and if Honda could bring itself to importing them at a reasonable price it could have a moderately successful bike. However, Honda does not seem to be interested in being price competitive, so yep, it will likely be a showroom anchor....

It still looks cool to my eyes, just the same.

Very cool looking. Izzat air-cooled?

My interest would depend on weight, and Honda makes some porky bikes in their class (ST1300, VFR, etc.) Hope they didn't pork up this one...

Love the way the bike looks. Has anyone heard any rumors on price? Or when we might hear some info on price?

reminds me of the best lines of a moto-guzzi...

VERY nice looking bike!

might convince me to go standard :)
still recovering - back to crutches, then walking with a stick, then running - then hopefully riding again!
