turns out this is a fairly common occurrence for Connie gas tanks. Called a couple of places looking to the cost of repair or replacement and they all basically went " Oh dear, another Connie tank". Taking it up to a shop that specializes in repairing bike and small portable gas tanks to have them look at it. He figures if its the usual, it should cost around C$100 to fix, excluding repaint. Also said he has another Connie tank in the shop getting fixed for the exact same problem and in almost the exact same spot.

Now I wonder if Sabre's tank would fit on Connie.... :mrgreen: :mrgreen:
