Help Ignition Problems D2 VN1500

#1 Unread post by aw58 »

Hi,

I have no ignition lights, no electrics at all . All fuses ok, just bought a new battery as the old one was prone to failure in cold weather.

Checked all my connections on the fuse box.

Running fine after having new stainless exhausts made. Removed the speedo to check the cable connection as no speed being recorded - replaced and now no electrics.

any Ideas???
If you can see the tops of the mountain's it's going to rain.
If you can't - it's raining.

was there possibly an intermittent short in the speedo causing the speed to not be reported that became a constant short when you removed it and jiggled the wires around in the process? only thing i can think of if you've checked the charge on the battery since you lost the electrics.
