People say I'm stupid and apathetic. I don't know what that means, and I don't care.

are we including the time it takes to put on his helmet and jacket and warm up the bike or are we talking straight from money changing hands to ticket getting handed over?

Awww you guys are so sweet! It's very nice of you to offer but I know once you got to the Post Office you'd be bewildered at the excrutiating request from the cashier to hand over your debit card for some ridiculous amount of money!!!blues2cruise wrote:sunshine...anything in particular you'd like that you can't get there? We could mail you some.....

I have colleagues who regularly travel back and forth so if/when I am desperate I ask them to bring something over. Besides, my parents are very good at shipping me some Coffee Crisps and Mr.Big's when I'm desperate...

At least I could still get to work. I sold it for $1500 and at 11 years old it cost us nothing more than oil changes, brakes and tires (and cool-ness - but I was able to overcome it .....totalmotorcycle wrote:Andrea says you should have stuck with the "loser cruiser" :High_Side wrote:But I made the mistake about 5 years ago of picking up a Nissan truck on a whim and I have been paying for it ever since (not the truck - the mistake).

I got the Nissan back today and took it quading. 20 minutes in to the drive the check engine light appeared....

Re: What did you do today...
so i got bored this afternoon and was gonna ride up to Winslow Arizona to see the "Standin' on the Corner Park" that they put up in honor of the Eagles' song. by the time i got to Globe i realized that if I kept heading north i'd freeze my butt off long before i ever made it as far north as I-40, so ended up making a big loop from Tucson to Globe then over to Phoenix then back to Tucson via 60/79/77. i think i woulda been fine if i'd left earlier in the day and had gotten to Winslow before it got dark and dropped down to the 40s. was about 300 miles by the time it was all said and done, and rolled over to 3,000 miles just outside Florence.
