lit off a couple of "illegal" fireworks. Saw a bike down the road a ways so I quick picked everything up. Sure enough it was a cop on a bike trying to find out where the illegals were getting lit from. Yeah good luck on that one. I have 6 bottle rockets left lol.
My niece and nephews, and their kids came by last night after I got off work. We sat outside and blew off a boatload of fireworks.
People say I'm stupid and apathetic. I don't know what that means, and I don't care.
Always wear a helmet, eye protection, and protective clothing. Never ride under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
I watered the garden.
I went through a whole lot of papers and put them in the recycle bin.
I went for a short ride on my new motorcycle. I ordered engine guards for it.
I added 2 litres of oil to my car.
And now it's lunch time.
Found out that my timetable for a new vehicle has been accelerated because my current engine is attempting to spin a rod bearing... So now off to find a truck that I can trade my Camry in on... Not hard to find, but the requirements and my price range don't mesh that well.

Went up to London to buy a couple of new shirts and go to a meeting. Walked to the West End through Soho and found myself in the middle of a huge gay pride celebration. LOL. There were were at least a million people there according to the media. Those guys certainly know how to have fun!!!!!!!!!!!
It was such a lovely afternoon that I couldn't face going to the meeting but went on down to the South Bank near the London Eye and just soaked up the sun and the crowds and the buskers and the buildings and the river. Got into conversation with a couple of tourists. Later I stopped by Covent Garden to see the street performers. There were a couple of break-dancers from NY wowing the crowds with some pretty extreme moves. They were amazing! I'm getting to the stage of really resenting my age.
Sitting here now, this morning, wondering whether to ring up a mate and see if he wants to go for a ride, or to just go and doze in the garden - another hot day.

LOL I just witnessed my first ever car reposession. No it wasnt any of my vehicles as the last one was paid off 5 years ago. Heard quite a bit of yelling like "NO YOU CANT TAKE THAT". Though im not sure how to feel towards the family as I dont know what the situation is that caused them to not be able to make payments but they did just move into that house like less than 6 months ago
Wow... The repo agent was actually being illegal if they said to go away and he didn't. Legally they cannot take the vehicle if the person who it is getting repossessed from says to go away or get off the property or anything to that effect. Doesn't always work granted, but it is the law.
