That bike is cool, really cool. I think the mirrors are probably unusable, but mirrors are for sissys anyway.

Mine would work far better if they didn't split the glass in two with that semi-horizontal piece of chrome right up the middle. What's left is literally two little shards of glass that you have to squint to see anything in. I only use them to see if someone is behind. If I see someone, I stay put. If I don't see anyone, I look over my shoulder to verify - then change lanes.

You guys both have beautiful bikes. I like having good mirrors though. I always turn and look before changing lanes (yes, I can still somehow see even with a full-face helmet on), but I like having real mirrors so I can keep track of my wife who's usually putting along behind me. If I run a light and she gets stuck I get in trouble

Now THAT I can understand...gotta keep an eye on the wife.

In some ways I wish my wife would learn to ride but in many others I am SO glad she doesn't...glad I don't have to worry about her if she was on her own.

Believe me, I know what you mean. But her riding her own ride beats the hell out of riding two-up. 2-up now and again is fine, but I'd just as soon be alone on the bike the majority of the time. At any rate she decided on her own she wanted to ride, took the course, got a license, got a bike, got some gear and now she loves it. My only problem is she doesn't like to go fast enough or far enough.

Yeah mine wants to go riding on back with me but then she doesn't want to ride very far so it kinda defeats the purpose to me. I sometimes exagerate how far I will be riding so she'll pass and I can ride alone...ooops.

I understand...but look at this old picture of my bike with the stock mirrors, and you'll see why they had to go.

(*NOTE* You can also see the stock front fender and the "hole" the chin spoiler now covers)

Oh yeah...those would HAVE to go!

I thought about doing a chin spoiler for mine but haven't seen one just the right look I am after yet. Yours looks great with your bike.
