I have a 2006 V Star 1100. This morning I jumped on thinking I was going for a ride. She started up but sounded weird and was only running on 1 cylinder. We took the spark plug out of the cold side and it was wet with gasoline. Changed the plug, checked to make sure there was spark, and tried again. Same thing. Choke had to be 1/2 way out or she would die. When reving, she backfired and popped. The upper exhaust was hot to the touch but the lower (other side) was still cold even after 10 minutes (we tried to warm her up good thinking that may fire up the other side). Any input, thoughts, advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Yamaha 1100 V Star only running on 1 cylinder
Was the plug fouled? Was the spark strong?
Might want to replace plugs anyway.
Has anything else changed? How long has it been since you rode it last?
