Looked at it with longing for a ride. On my way to work with a pickup truck load of supplies.

Posted it for sale... If it doesn't sell within the month I'm gonna rebuild it over winter like I was planning on doing this summer and ride it next summer.

Kinda sucks how you feel you have to sell it. Hope it works out (you keeping it and rebuilding it. Maybe you can help me source some parts for my 1984 Ninja).

Since there are no rear fenders available for my bike I had to go buy a chrome license plate holder with those H-D reflector strips found on various Harleys. A little more rear visibility without having to tap into the wiring once more. Been having some Radiantz strips on the bike but need more optimal placements.

I went to auto parts store for a new set of 12v horns as the corrosion is taking out one of the horns making it pip squeak instead of giving me the sound of an old Buick horn.

Found out I had a chain oiler greasing my chain without my knowledge til now. Still have to do some routine maintenance on that piece.

I need a new seat lock but it's really hard to find for my year Ninja. I also need to find a way to weld the middle support rod for the front cowl as the bolt area rusted and broke (the front cowl is supported by the sides of the bike but the middle rod keeps it from bouncing) or just buy a ZRX 1200 cowl and mount it on my bike (of course I would then feel obligated to remove the lower fairings).

Buy new mirrors as the $15 EMGO mirrors snapped at speed (the OEM Kawasaki mirrors are $60 for a reason and they don't vibrate at all).
One thing you can count on: You push a man too far, and sooner or later he'll start pushing back.

Took it on a track. My first time to go on one.

Same as most days, the ride to work and back... really hoping to get some time and nice weather for a rideout at the weekend though... :)
Don't give up.

Not now, not soon, not after being continually knocked down.

If you never give up, you can never truly fail.

I took the rear wheel off my Hypermotard as I am taking it to the dealer tomorrow to have new Dunlop Q2 installed. Taking the rear wheel off the Hyper is so freakin' easy it's almost criminal. Hoist up the rear with the Pitbull, pull the cotter pin, step on the rear brake pedal and yank off the big single axle nut. Took all of about a minute from start to finish. :kicking:

Put passenger pegs on the nightster and ordered a 2 up seat. Also stared longingly at a 2011 Fat Boy Lo. Sat on it, sooooooooooooooooooooooo comfortable. Maybe in a few years.
