Genuine parts to suit 1996 Heritage Nostalga Required ?

#1 Unread post by doggy »

G,day all my fellow Hog supporters , owners & riders of the like.

Let me take a minute to share with you my delemma.

Firstly , I have just joined this site in the hope of getting some feedback or being pointed in the right direction as to how I can aquire new genuine original parts for my missus & mine newly aquired 1996 Heritage Nostalga. ( Well its new to us anyway)

I have most of the extras that come with this model but am missing the front indicator lights that bolt on to the bar that supports the two smaller extra head lights.
Secondly is it possible to get the genuine original seat & pillion & back rest pad either new or recovered identically to what they were released as. I have them with the bike but they are well worn in & would like to restore them to new condition.

Thirdly is I am trying to find a Chromeing service that is reputable as putting out quality work on chroming of harley parts at a reasonable price.

Last of all , is there a manual or parts guide I could print off showing me parts that exist on this model machine. This would be a great help in me restoring it to full original.

I am not real computer minded so as you could imagine I am having great difficulty trying to source these issues on google .

I am based up in Nth Qld near Cairns, so as you all may well know we are very limited as to what we have here , if the service you require is here at all.
Most of the time it requires freighting down to Brisbane.

Thanks all & happy riding,
Cheers ,
Doggy

Hope I get some feedback from you guys/girls out there which can point me in the right direction.

I wouldn't know, I live in Kansas, which is located in the middle of the U.S.A. I googled Harley dealers in Queensland and Sy's came up. It looks like a full service kind of place, give them a ring and find out. Good luck.
