I am looking for the Maintenance Manual for my 2005 Yamaha V-Star 650 Classic. All I really want to do is to change the oil, but I am a little leery of doing it without the manual. I guess the biggest thing I am worried about is the "weep" bolt at the top of the cylinders that I have to "loosen and see if oil is weeping out". I have read online that you have to loosen the bolt to see if oil is weeping out otherwise the SOHC can become un-lubricated. Being un-lubricated is a bad situation for any SOCH.
Or am I just crazy =(
Anyone know where to get a Maintenance Manual?

Think I found something that may work until I figure out how to get one from Yamaha. Thought I should share

Actually that is Yamaha's factory service manual. Print off the pages you need and take them out to the garage!
