6. You should stop playing American "football". There is only one kind of football. What you refer to as American "football" is not a very good game. The 2.15% of you who are aware that there is a world outside your borders may have noticed that no one else plays "American" football. You will no longer be allowed to play it, and should instead play proper football. Initially, it would be best if you played with the girls. It is a difficult game. Those of you brave enough will, in time, be allowed to play rugby (which is similar to American "football", but does not involve stopping for a rest every twenty seconds or wearing full kevlar body armour like nancies). We are hoping to get together at least one US rugby sevens side by 2006. You should stop playing baseball. It is not reasonable to host an event called the 'World Series' for a game which is not played outside of America. Since only 2.15% of you are aware that there is a world beyond your borders, your error is understandable. Instead of baseball, you will be allowed to play a girls' game called "rounders" which is baseball without a fancy team strip, oversized gloves, collector cards or hotdogs.
I can live with everything else, but there is no way, NO WAY, that we will be forced to watch that rubbish you call "proper" football, technically know as soccer. What are doing? Trying to bore us into submission?

Just because 90-some-odd percent of the world outside our borders prefers soccer doesn't make it right or good. I mean, if the majority of the world preferred eating turds, would you do it because everybody else was? I sure as hell wouldn't.

I will be glad though to get your beers over here. Much better than mass produced American beers. Just make the Samuel Smiths a bit cheaper. And send more Old Speckled Hens too.

It was intended for concealed carry, but they attached so many little rules and regulations to our recently passed concealed carry law here in Ohio that it's impractical to even try to carry one, even legally.

A 12ga shotgun is forthcoming...just as soon as the funds arrive.

Nope, it's a 38-special. A 357 does not make a very good snub nose. I use hollow-tip rounds and have a laser sight to ensure none of them enter my kids' bedrooms unintentionally.

I'm always surprised when I here that there are people out there carring weapons for protection.

In my 32 years I have never been in a situation where I needed a weapon. I have actually never seen a gun in real life, aside from the ones strapped to police officers belts.

How many people that carry weapons have actually had to use them?

It is my sincere hope that I never have to brandish or use my gun. However, it only takes one incident to make you glad you have one.

Afraid I cant take responcibility for writing that, only posting it. Its from an email that was very popular over here about 5 years back.

I like this, Remington 870 combat shorty with folding wingmaster stock. I dont think HM Customs & Excise will let back in the Country with it though...

No, I dont have any reason to own one apart from its just damn cool!

Hmmm looking at the sites for it I am now worried... apartently you can get sights and laser dots for it... Why would you need them if you are loading 00 buckshot???

Consumers at their best. It's not needed just cool to have. If you can't hit your target without the sights on that gun, you might as well throw it in the trash.

ive never had to pull my gun out Yet. but having it on me has stopped alot of situations from getting worse i have no question of that.

in the past when i didnt have a gun i sure wish i had. ive grown up in some of the worst places you can imagine, having a gun was just part of life to most people.

like ZooTech said, that one time you do need the gun youll be glad its there.

I second that. I carry all the time either on my side on within immediate reach while driving in the cage. I've never had to use it or threaten with it. But I do feel safe when I'm on the road and some idiot drives like a maniac, cuts me off, etc., and then follows me 'cause he thinks I'm an "O Ring".(only happened once, and didn't have to use my gun since he stayed in his car) This same subject came about at work. One guy asked me why would people want to carry. His reasoning was that he has never been involved in any incidents where he needed one and said if he ever was, then he would just wait for the police. I didn't say whether or not I carried, but asked him if he has ever had a flat tire, he said "no". I asked him if he has a spare tire in his vehicle, and he said "yes". So, why would you have a spare tire in your vehicle if you've never had a flat before? His reply, just in case it ever happens, I will be prepared and ready. I told him that it's the same thing with carrying a weapon, to be ready in case it ever happens. He went on to argue that that is completely different and how it doesn't apply to what we are talking about, and that crime is not very big here. But when you look at the crime rate here, it concerns me a great deal. There have been 8 murders within a 20 mile radius of where I live, not to mention an older couple that chopped up two 20 year old people and put them into barrels in a storage building 8 miles from my house, and then throw some body parts in the lake only to be found by the local police. I just told him we all prepare in different ways. Just because I choose to carry doesn't mean everybody has to carry. And if people choose not to carry, does not mean I don't have to. He eventually got mad and walked off. Don't know why he got mad, this is America and everyone has choices. :2guns:
Hopefully have a ride by February.

I actually don't carry a spare tire either.

I guess it's just different society. No one carries guns here except police and criminals, so the saying goes.

I'm glad I live somewhere that I can walk down the street and feel safe without carrying weapons. People here tend to take that for granted, myself included.
