[quote="sapaul"Now because I WANT A NEW ONE, I have to let this R850R go. I have a man that has paid me money into my account, am just waiting for it to clear, then it's one last wash and polish ......[/quote]
So you did end up getting the hexhead roadster? Cool.
I had an F650CS, a generally mediocre bike, but I still miss the heck out of it. Enough power for me, great riding position, bullteproof, and 26-28 km/l.
Hmmm, getting a bit dusty around here (wipes eye).

Yes horribly. My XJR was a whole new riding experience and it was a beautiful bike. Rode like a dream. Parting with it finally was really sad but replacing it helped heal memories I suppose. I used to pass the dealer and look for it and wonder if they had resprayed it and who would get it..all those unanswered mysteries.

Not really sad to say. It was such a worry with the oil and engine probs, and then I was so excited to get the Motard, my first ever new bike it sort of took away nostalgic feelings for the sL.

Hell yeah, I get sentimental. Every bike I've sold has always left me with feelings of regret. But the reasons for letting them go have always been in my best interests and the bike(s) that have replaced them have always helped ease the sorrow.

It's THAT you ride

It did get comments from everyone who saw it regarding how great looking it was though. I need more than that to love a motorcycle.

The therapy worked, I got a GS now
A touch of insanity crept back in the shape of an R1200R
