Had a leisurely ride home from good weekend away.
Now going to finish the w/e off with a steak dinner + a couple of beers.

Re: What did you do today...
Yesterday, had to ride an hour to find a local Telus dealer that was open so I could replace my phone that vanished between Princeton and Osoyoos. I hate losing all the info that built up over the time you own a phone...
Today, it's off to the manufacturer of my tent trailer, time to buy more goodies...

Spent about an hour washing and chopping fruit (grapes, strawberries, honeydew, raspberries and watermelon). Taking some of it to work for "doughnut day" today! Yes, I'll be bringing doughnuts too.

Yummy!! Wish you worked with mezee wrote: grapes, strawberries, honeydew, raspberries and watermelon.
I am on nights off & decided to ride up to the local Triumph dealership as they are having a clothing sale (won't pay full price).
So got my leathers/boots etc on..........went out to the bike shed..........& my bike wasn't there!!!
My fella had a really early start yesterday & had to collect his truck at 0545hrs. So as my bike had fuel & his didn't he just took it!
Well he did buy it I suppose.
Anyway I have been up to the yard today to collect it & it is safely back home.......with empty fuel tank!

Sounds like he should buy you something at the Triumph clothing sale to make amends.....mogster wrote:I am on nights off & decided to ride up to the local Triumph dealership as they are having a clothing sale (won't pay full price).

Took a little ride up the twisty Hwy to Penticton and then on to Naramata. Mmmm wine country, picked up three dessert wines at Elephant Island Estate Winery. Off to Blasted Church Estate Winery to grab a few bottles of Reisling. Then finished my trip back to camp with a stop at the Burrowing Owl Estate Winery, grabbed a few bottles of Pinot Gris. Back at camp now enjoying a few fresh cherries before getting dinner started ...

Re: What did you do today...
Had a great day out at the Sammy Miller motorcycle museum in Hampshire. It was the first organised Triumph ride in & over 400 triumphs turned up, from as far away as Holland.
Met the man himself (winner of many TT's, gold medals & innovative motorcycle designer). He shookl my hand twice + took me by the arm to show me around.........what a splendid old gent.
That was even after I made the mistake of calling an Ulsterman Irish! (Let's NOT start that debate).
Great weather, lovely people & only 15 miles from home! .

Re: What did you do today...
Congrats, Loonette!
Got home last night after a weekend away... first bike trip w/my hubby. Son stayed home with our pets so it was just the two of us on our bikes. Left Saturday morning, about a 3 hour ride to our destination on the Columbia River. Came home yesterday afternoon with a short stop at Grand Coulee Dam. Might do it again next weekend!
