Bob Marley and the Wailers.

I saw the Wailers after Marley's passing. They were great but never saw Bob.

Hmmm... I imagine you mean Mr Mojo Risin, which just happens to be an anagram of Jim Morrison also known as the Lizard King...
oops ... didnt have an anagram spell-checker plugin

lots more good bands listed! The Who and Marley for sure too! Even Van Halen from the David Lee Roth era... and i didnt even know they recently did a tour with DLR until seeing a vid on youtube. too many good artists everywhere now, even friends who play awesome stuff. Better off to get a guitar or keyboard again and go back to the basics myself.

It was a great concert, the atmosphere in Berlin was electric as the wall had only been down for just about 8 months, and the crowd, 95% German, knew every word of every song and joined in with the singing. If my wife had been a bit more adventurous at the time, we could have seen Roger Waters perform The Wall at the Wall, the following weekend, but she didn't like the idea of staying at a strangers house. So she changed our airline tickets to match the accommodations we had, (the travel agent had us there one more night but forgot to include that night in the hotel res.) Of course staying in the same hotel as almost all the bands that came for the Wall concert probably didn't help the accommodation situation.

I've seen groups/artists I don't particularly like, but the shows they've put on were incredible. Not a big fan of country at all, but would've loved to have seen a few of the concerts that have come through town over the years...

We were sitting across the street from the hotelat a pub having a drink with the other people that won their trips to see Phil the same as I did. When all of a sudden I see this woman walking down the street with two big burly body guards. As she walked by our table, I said to her that it was nice to see a fellow Canadian, she stopped and asked where we were from and I told her the Vancouver area. Then she sat down at our table, had a quick chat and a drink then went on her way... Totally cool, Ms. Mitchell...
