Cool. Not as pretty as the original Bonnie (but not leaky or as vibey either; a perfectly good tradeoff).

I voted COOL because I appreciate the retro styling but really would've rather voted "it's ok". Nothing about it stood out and said "ride me!". Sorry Mike, I'm with Madjak30 on this one.

I voted Awesome. It's a Triumph, it's got true retro looks, it's modern and up to date inside, how can it be anything but awesome? Plus it doesn't look like a reject from a bad Transformers movie.

These were or I should say their ancestors were the bikes that Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha and Kawasaki sought to copy when they went out to conquer the motorcycling world back in the 60's. They didn't copy big Yankee twin like HD or Indian, but rather the smaller British style twins made by BSA, Norton and Triumph. Most of us older buggers cut our riding teeth on the UJM twins of the 70's and 80's such as the Honda CM400 and those bikes were in many ways derived from bikes like the original Bonneville.

So I say this new version is simply awesome, not only for it looks and mechanics, but also as a nod to biking history.

Addendum: Park a mirror bedecked Vespa beside it, cue up The Who's Quadrophenia on turn table, bring in some aging Mods and Rockers any you would have the makings of one hell of a party.......................or riot. :D

Why does the exhaust pipe have to be bent up at an unattractive angle leading up to the pea shooter? :?

It kind of looks like my bike so I vote awesome! I just don't like the colors in the last two pictures, but I like the all black one in the first pic.

Definately an Awesome/Cool bike, but which category will it fall in at the end?

I voted Awesome, although I like the looks of the 2000/2001 Kawasaki W650 better, I love the Triumph Bonneville.

I like to judge a bike by how well it achieved what it was intended for not just compare it to other bikes. I have learned there is a time and place for every motorcycle and a person for every motorcycle. This bike is awesome to me. It takes a timeless classic design and adds new technologies without any disrespect to the original. I think they hit their mark with this bike perfectly. There are color options for most people. Function was not lost to form with this piece of art. Its not a touring bike, not a sport bike, not a cruiser. This is a classic bike with modern functionality.
1984 Honda Magna 700, 1987 CBR1000F, 1991 Nighthawk 750, 1994 FZR600, and for the dirt 1995 KTM 300 EXC and finally a 1986 KX500
