I'll take you up on that sir :) I feel better on it each time and hopefully wouldn't slow you down too much. Hoping we get good weather at least one day next weekend

Not to worry, I try to make it a habit to let newbies lead, that way they can set the pace and I can at as a cage blocker.
Always ask why.

Good deal. I'll check with you about the weekend around Wednesday and see if it works if we get a promising forecast

November 1st, 4:30AM, black as the ace of spades outside, temps high enough above zero to foregoing worry about frost or ice, traffic minimal....CRANK IT OPEN AND LET 'ER SCREAM!!!!!!!.....made it to the office in just under 20 minutes....

November 1st, 3:30PM, clear but with a light haze of clouds, is that a taste of snow I feel? Bugger it, traffic is light, time to let out my inner hooligan and ride home, sod speed limits, Connie wants to scream and roar....made it home in half an hour.
Always ask why.

Lol unlike me, who just finished a short 40 min cruise all under 60k/h. I'm still determined to go well within my limits as a beginner. Weekend looks crummy now but might be better than they say. Hands are cold after the ride though. Definitely need some warmer gear

I own three sets of gloves, light weight ones for summer, my mid range glove which actually see the most use and my heavy winter gloves...had to break those babies out this week....

As for the weekend, I am on call so have to stay close to the computer in case I need to do a remote log in to deal with any issues, which given truckers, customs brokers and shipper, I can expect plenty. But the weekend afterwards I am free.
Always ask why.

this weekend is showing rain through one weather site, and sunshine through another, so I'm not even sure if it'll be a weekend I ride in. Until I pick up rain gear and some warmer gear in a couple of weeks I'm likely going to be riding short trips if at all. I'm hoping I can get in at least one or two rides a week for as long as possible

will check with you middle of next week and see how it looks, would like to get some pointers from someone who's been riding a while. I may be able to drag one of my friends out this weekend, will see if the weather turns out to be good
