Sorry about the "pig" comment. I thought that the VTX was heavy, slow for its displacement, and didn't handle particularly well. In comparison, I also own a 2004 GL1800 Gold Wing. It is heavy in parking maneuvers, but is nimble and handles well at speed. You "ride" it around curves. The VTX you "drive" around curves. The FJR you "think" it around curves. This is the best way I can describe the handling characteristics.
