I spent my therapy money an a K1200S
The therapy worked, I got a GS now
A touch of insanity crept back in the shape of an R1200R

I went to an estate sale with my brother Joe. Found some good stuff.
People say I'm stupid and apathetic. I don't know what that means, and I don't care.

Booked a very cheap & hopefully cheerful break on the Isle of Wight for next week
The weather is fine & the journey is short but we will be going overseas (well over the Solent) so it feels like a proper little holiday

Re: What did you do today...
Spent a half hour tonight discovering that the latch that holds down the seat on a Triumph Trophy works So Much Better if one installs it right side up. Yes, got the bike back from the welder on Saturday and put it back together. As they say, that frame will never break there again...
Speechless with amazement at my singular discovery of this Important Mechanical Principle about seat latches, I will now refrain from posting further tonight and go to bed. (The several glasses of red wine ain't hurting, either....

Re: What did you do today...
Didn't sleep a bit yesterday, so when it came time to head to work, the eyes that would hardly stay open, the tremors in my hands convinced me it wouldn't be a good idea to try and drive a loaded 5 ton truck around city streets on graveyard shift. Booked it off and tried to sleep, got about 4 hours and I'm still exhausted... Might have to try jstark47's method.
Several glasses of wine at 7am is okay, right???
