I purchaced a 2009 New Tmax in 2010 at a discount for $4995 with taxes and reg made it $5400.
I have $1000 of top of the line added Givi accessories on it.
I was offered $6200 from a private buyer, not a trade in price.
It has 3500 miles and in perfect condition
EVERYBODY wants one!
people tell me I look BETTER than Mel Gibson, I am younger and have longer hair than he does, plus much taller.

The basic thing is I made good investment by buying a Tmax at the time when nobody else wanted one and dealers couldn't give them away.
Nobody knew how great they were at the time, I made a stab in the dark, I made a risk buying one and I won!
and I am just bragging about that!

1600 miles in a year? That poor, neglected motorcycle :(

If I rode less than I do, I would definitely get it changed once a year.

As for the 5k oil changes, I'm guessing that's pretty standard for newer cruisers. My Honda's manual calls for 5k mile oil changes and, at the rate I ride, that happens twice a year. 8 years and 65k on the odo, and she's still happy with life. My ex-boyfriend's '03 Harley also got oil changes at 5k miles.
Ooooooh. Shiny!

MmeMagpie? I must admit the Honda Shadow 750 is the BEST cruiser bike that exists out there!
my bike is a scooter, its a Yamaha Tmax, I used to ride with a girl , she rode a Honda Valkrie, and she would always comment how "cute" my scooter was, she knows how to ride and handle that big bike cause I taught her how to ride it, now she forgot about me, never calls me anymore

I spent my therapy money an a K1200S
The therapy worked, I got a GS now
A touch of insanity crept back in the shape of an R1200R

Not really, wish we could do the same.
Always ask why.

If you taught her how to ride, I can only imagine a couple of reasons why she doesn't call, the main being that there aren't any phones where she is...

nobody that owns a big shinny cruiser bike wants to be seen riding with a scooter, I understand that, but what I don't understand there's a local scooter club thats made up mostly with Suzuki Burgman's and they refuse to allow me as a member just because I own a Yamaha Tmax, but at the same time they also have a few members that ride crotch rockets and other Honda and Kymco scooters.
nobody wants to ride with me, I don't know if its me or my Tmax, my Tmax is like the ugly girl that nobody wants, but when you get that girl in bed she performs much better than any other girl.
