Looks like they're around 110/front, and 140/rear normal price here. So 250 is about average, but not a special price for us. Keep in mind though that right now larger dual sports/adventure touring bikes are exploding in popularity here in the US. The last few years it's been about the supermotos, and they're finally coming down in price to reasonable levels.

Messed around with the RD. Lost the keys on a test ride when they came out of the ignition. Walked around the block twice looking for them onlly to finally see them in the driveway when I took the car to town. It's still not running right...sigh... I was about to pull it into the shop and it just started screaming until i could dig the spare key out of my pocket and turn it off. I swear this bike just doesn't like me.

Also took the car to town and washed off all the pollen that was covering it. Those tree's really get messy with their love making.
Got to go babysit the nephews in a little bit.

Played around with the rear fender on the Zed. The stock fender was still on it, and was ginormous. I didn't like it, but I did love the stock turn signals because they're super bright, and wanted to keep under-seat storage intact. I figured out how to pull off the whole fender, but re-mount the turn signals behind the plate so it looks pretty decent IMO.
Can you guys see this pic?

Ever woke up and decided maybe today is not a good day to ride to work? Had one today and am I glad I listened to that little voice nattering away in back of my head. It was a bit wet on the commute in, but nothing that I haven't rode in before and the Connie's fairing does a pretty good job at keeping the water off of me at speed, but still decided to take the Pathfinder in.

On the way home, a totally different story, about two hours before calling it a day, one hell of a hail storm hit here and then drizzly rain. Some of the back roads I take home in Burnaby had a good half inch of slush on them. Coming across Knight Street bridge, my front brakes lock up with just a slight dab of peddle pressure due to hydroplaning....lovely, was able to control it, but damn the roads were greasy.....of the finale, I got to witness a car flip over onto its roof. Just as I was about to enter the tunnel, I spotted a small econo box car coming down the counter-flow lane, traffic had suddenly stopped or slowed down in front of him, he locked up his brakes, slammed right front wheel into the barrier separating the two tubes, bounced up and off, flipped over on to his roof and slide into the rear of a stopped car with a good thump, bounced off and ended up blocking both lanes, luckily the lady in the on-coming SUV was able to safely stop before hitting him. I could see him sitting upside down in is seat but could not stop to assist.

Sometimes it does pay to heed those little voices in your head.
Always ask why.

Indeed, aren't we glad we have them and we are old enough to listen.
I spent my therapy money an a K1200S
The therapy worked, I got a GS now
A touch of insanity crept back in the shape of an R1200R

Spent the day in London at an Impro class. Haven't done this for years. I suddenly panicked a few weeks ago upon the realisation that, despite all efforts to the contrary, I am turning into a local government officer.

Had a huge amount of fun.

Spent yesterday at a Yamaha Demo Day at GA Checkpoint in Port Moody. Great bunch of people, and lots of free food... :o) Saw a '91 Venture Royale for sale on the floor. 1 owner, less than 50,000km on the clock. Really nice shape...
