Today is the first official day of my mini-vacation and I have full tank of petrol in Connie......so of course when I woke up this morning...it was bloody peeing down....sigh, oh well never mind, got to compose a political rant that I sent off to various MP's, newspapers and posted here. Friday, I will be getting a new rear tyre for Connie and on Saturday hope to head to the Sunshine Coast for a ride.

I have been modifying a leather waistcoat (vest) that I bought at a bargain price. As I am quite tall I find female clothes too short in the back & therefore bought a mans waistcoat, but it hadn't got curves in the right places :wink:.

It's quite difficult sewing leather & I have a few needlestick injuries as a result but I also have a unique waistcoat which will compliment my new leather trousers + keep my back warm :D
