I love my Triumph America, but I would have liked a bunch of changes, including: 6th gear, ABS, cruise control, better stock seat, fork lock that actually works, better stock suspension, better exhausts for nicer sound, louder horn, locking side cases, gear indicator. Many of things are fixable and I have done so, but some can't be changed. No bike is perfect, no matter what some folks will tell you, but the trick is to find the bike that is the closest to perfect for you, and that has no game stoppers (such as, for me, a seat over 30 inches high). Then over time upgrade/change what you can, then enjoy an almost perfect (for you) ride.
