Cases
Good day everyone.
I am in the process of buying a new bike, a Versys 1000.
Since one of the main points of getting this bike was being able to tour, I am planning on buying cases for then bike. I'll often be riding two up and I was wondering how big is too big.
I found nice top cases and side cases at Givi but I am not of sure how big or small to go...
I would like to have advices from you guys.
Thanks a lot

Re: Cases
IMO get the biggest you can afford and good luck.
People say I'm stupid and apathetic. I don't know what that means, and I don't care.

Re: Cases
When I tour on my Vstrom, I have an E46 top case and 2 V35 side cases, plus a tank bag. That has been enough for a 9 day tour. You're showing a 52 litre top case and 46 litre side cases, so you'd have more than I use. It should be enough unless you're packing the kitchen sink.

Re: Cases
Just my opinion but better than cases, I have the Ventura luggage system on my R12R
I spent my therapy money an a K1200S
The therapy worked, I got a GS now
A touch of insanity crept back in the shape of an R1200R

Re: Cases
YES, thank you. the Goose used the system on a 2500km trip in Jan, worked like a charm and nowhere near as cumbersome as the panniers on the GS.
