2003 Kawasaki ZRX 1200R Starter not turning over

Battery is good, fuses good. Could it be the starter relay? Is there a way to check it? The bike has 9000 miles on it. :frusty:

Hello Tom, and welcome to the forum. Can I ask how you know the battery and fuse's are good. The way I test a battery is (with a voltmeter across the battery) try to start the bike. Does the voltage stay above 10 volts. The starter relay should have four wires on it, two big wires and two smaller wires. The smaller wires are the starter switch. Momentarily short the two smaller wires and the starter should crank. If it does your problem is elsewhere. If it doesn't crank the starter (use a large screwdriver) momentarily short the big wires. If it cranks now you have a bad starter relay. Good luck.
People say I'm stupid and apathetic. I don't know what that means, and I don't care.
